The Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum District (Zoo Museum District) is a non-profit organization that provides funding for some of St. Louis' most-beloved attractions. Their logo was inspired by the asterisk, as the organization may be referred to as an important footnote for the attractions that are part of the district.
